Be for ever

Be for ever

A Poem by Sow Beet
"

Remember, when we were.

"

Be for ever

I swear I have seen this all before.

Look up, is that the sky, is it starting to cry,
are those clouds in your eyes?
Look past the sky, before time,
when we never asked why.
Look at the moments before time,
When we would play naked in the dark.
We lived like it would never end.
We lived like we didn’t even know we were alive.

Send me back into the folds of empty space,
where there is no old age, Where we bend and mold
our time in place.
Send me back where I am right now
above the clouds, playing with the souls of blue dwarfs
and red giants.

Insatiable prisms of pure light travel quiet,
tip toe and infinite breath.
Exhaling all that is, and that is,
all that there is of death.
Put me there, inside those spectrums,
with sonic drums beating Om, breathing
love, dancing light off the surface of the sun;
put me there after we watch creation inside the Nebula of
Orion.
