What band/singer would you think would cover this and what other song would you compare it to?

I'm not sure companies I have worked with turned this song down, and I haven't really had time to think about it. So I guess you could call this a forgotten song

I could actually imagine this being sang or spoken to me, with some gentle music in the background to
it. As I sat and listemed to the meaning behind it all. lovely and thoughtful and deep.
