Raindrops on the water

I quite like this... XD

Raindrops
Falling on the water
The sky crying
Sobbing just like her

Up above
Bridge high up
Some beautiful architecture
A beautiful lady

Soaked hair and clothes
tears mingling with rain
Heart hammering
And bleeding sadness

Spreads her arms
Screams with sorrow
Gracefully falls
Clothes flying from behind

Splash into the water
Pain up her legs
She ignores it
Sinks lower and lower

Air is not found
Her chest and head ache
She stares up
To the water surface

Raindrops
Falling on the water
The sky crying
Sobbing just like her

Very good!! You know it's interesting, I usually like rhyming poetry because I like the rhythm, but every now-and-again a non-rhyming poem can hold such a deeper meaning. I like the imagery. You don't say too much, but just enough to dangle the idea. Very well written!!

This poem reminds me of the song "Amy Says", by flyleaf. I love the rain, myself, like a wave of relief just showers over me. I think it's a complete art when someone writes freestyle and makes it a good poem. I really like the lyrical words. The connotation is quite perfect and I quite like this poem too...
