Summertime in Wintertime

Summertime in Wintertime

A Poem by Bella-Marie
"

When it's summer in the Northern Hemisphere, I'm fa-reezin'!!

"
Freezing cold!
Fingers numb and painful
Lips purple
Nose red
Muscles shaking

I wish I could
Go to America...

How warm it would be!

Hotter than Hamilton, NZ.
Way hotter.

No more frozen frosts
on the front lawn.

No more chilly winds
And -2 temperatures.

No more cold legs
and hypothermic toes.

But
For America's winter
I would SO come back

I've never
EVER
seen snow on a town
Only on a mountain.

I guess
I'm lucky that way.

Summertime in Wintertime.

I wonder what
you'd choose?

Nope. It's been raining for 2 weeks in Minnesota (America). And you're right. Winter lasts 6 months here, so I definitely wouldn't want to stay here for that. But it's home. For the poem, I absolutely loved it. It was a casual piece. Very nice. Keep writing!

I'm not. It's freezing cold biking to school but when I get there and sit down the start to burn.

Love the poem
