Life Story Tainted

Life Story Tainted

A Poem by Bella-Marie

It's got a few not-nice words in it. VERY serious.

This is the story of my life.

I was born in a hosptial.
No kidding! A hospital!
I was born at 4 in the afternoon.
Wow! In the afternoon!
My mother took one look at me and cried.
She must have been so shocked!
She said I was an ugly s**t.
She's correct, I've seen your baby pictures!
She adopted me out to some shithole.
I owe a lot to that lady, such a lovely mother to you!

The shithole left scars on me.
Good on her!
Her abuse made me so sick I nearly died.
I bet you're just hyping this up!
I spent 5 days on life support.
That's not that bad!
No one was there for me, no family, no nothing.
Shame shame shame!
But a nurse took pity on me.
She probably gagged at the sight of you!
She took me home and adopted me.
Her husband probably objected to you!
Her husband liked me too, and agreed to keep me.
He was probably just humouring the nurse!
They had no other kids after me.
They probably didn't want their kids to see you!

As I grew up, I was ashamed of my babyhood.
I told no one, but the secrets got out.
Good on that person who said them!
They wrecked my life, taunted me, harrassed me.
And I wish I could have been one of them!
I dropped out of school at 17.
You should have dropped out before then!

I became a nurse.
Ha, a stupid job!
I met the love of my life.
He is probably the ugliest man in the world!
We have four UGLY! children, who we love heaps.

I wish my Mother had never contacted me.
And I wish I had never contacted you!
She is bullying me, like the kids at school.
As I said, I wish I had been there to help them out!
She says I'm ugly, hates my kids and husband.
They're just as bad as you in the looks department!
But the gun in my hand has put an end to that.

It's like someones written something down in a book or something and someone who hates them has found it. Very interesting

i'm trying to make sense of the dialogue
is it the child speaking?
to their biological mother for giving up for adoption?
lots of rage but i'm sure it feels good to get it all out of your system...
