Desperation

Desperation

A Poem by Bellamorte

Twisted thoughts of you spiral in my mind.

Your tongue probes my ear and

I scream in fear as there is

nothing

I can do to ever get rid of you.

Oh, how you make me run.

You hide in my mind with venom in your fangs.

Your poison flows through my body,

through my heart,

through my mind.

Damaging my soul,

Piece by piece,

Slowly destroying me.

Alas, this is who we are and we cannot turn back the clocks.

Though how I wish I could undo it all.

Just for a moment,

a second;

I just want a glimpse of who I could've been if you hadn't annihilated my innocence.

Get your face out of my eyes.

Your image is not wanted here,

nor is it welcome.

So go.

Run.

Leave.

Keep yourself tucked tidily away in my thoughts that will be soon to fade.
