A PERCENT OF OUR PASSION

A PERCENT OF OUR PASSION

A Poem by Betty Hermelee
"

THE TOUCH

"

A PERCENT OF OUR PASSION

Naught does it matter

If you cannot see my green eyes

You discern my shadow large

In the full moonlight

I am close, touch my face

It drives my core to tingle

I trace the outline

Of your nose, a miniscule bump

Sparks me to giggle

I fancy the breath from your perfect nostrils

Pronto, you trace the outline of my lips

Do they hold your imagination in a trance?

Are they faint, portly?

Let us bring our bodies closer

In a tight squeeze, as if we are one

I can sense your twitch, your excitement

Can you savvy mine?

Here we are, entwined

likewise, our shadows

as if the moon is a percent of our passion

Very well done Betty with this luscious poem - it drives my core to tingle! You have composed loads of lovely images to describe this erotic encounter. There is something about moonlight which stirs passion.
You have excelled yourself with this one.
All the best,
Alan

I would be inclined to feel that the moon is always a percent of passion
As JtheB would say, some heavy breathing stuff here Betty.

ohhhhhhhhhhh ..i savvy baby!!!! you are so very good .. have not read a poem so soundly inviting me into it ... and the moon ... "La Luna, bella Luna!" .. just a percentage .. brilliant .. wish i wrote and read this to someone .. on that moon lit night .. balmy breeze and drunk with our youth .. ahhhhhhhh! and the playful approach makes the electricity all the more appealing .. great stuff young lady .. really like this one!

Moonlight, it does set the scene for romance. This is sensual writing Betty. I felt the heat here. You create lovely imagery with these lines. Good job done.

A very romantic offering here, verging on the erotic. One more verse and the sap would have overflowed.
