Lets Not Talk About (High School) Anymore

Lets Not Talk About (High School) Anymore

A Poem by Gustan Joseph

Eating cold soup with a plastic fork.
Still can't admit that I know I'm such a dork.
Cafeteria food tastes all the same.

I own a locker I never use.
Pretty girls are nothing but bed news,
And they never ever remember my name.

Who needs a car when it’s just a 2 mile bike to school.
Besides all the kids with cars think they’re really cool.
But I don’t care anyway.

Spending money buying time and wasting the time I spend
Laugh at stupid jokes along with my stupid friends.
So I guess I don’t have anything important to say.

Author's Note

Gustan Joseph
I just don't want to be hanging with a friend, and doing nothing but talking about the time we spend in high school. It's time for new memories.
