Love

A poem about love

I look at you, and this is what I see
You’re more than just a girl, you’re my entire life
I see my past, present, and future in those eyes
And I start to wonder if I’ve met my future wife

It’s crazy to think how much we’ve fallen in love
Who could’ve guess that one week would be enough
To show the world that our feelings were true
And that we would survive anything, even when times were tough

Sure we’ve had some struggles,
And yes we have had some fights
But I promise baby there was only one thing that mattered
That I got to be yours at the end of every night

I promise to treat you with respect
Always be there for you, like a best friend
And treat you like a princess
Since this love is something I never want to see end
