Ragdoll Superstar

Ragdoll Superstar

A Poem by WynterPhoenix

You push.
You pull.
Ragdoll superstar.
She's a fool.

Your little puppet,
pull the strings.
She won't pull back.
The burning stings.
Turning left,
dragging her right.
You down her with flaws,
her lips sealed tight.

Ragdoll superstar,
tossed around every curve.
Ragdoll superstar,
pinched at every nerve.

Lifeless corpse,
her body falls.
Breathless beauty,
bound by walls.
Static perfection,
hypocrisy taunts.
Your religious obsession,
your wording haunts.

Ragdoll superstar,
tossed around every curve.
Ragdoll superstar,
pinched at every nerve.

You push.
You pull.
Ragdoll superstar.
She's a fool.
You taunt.
You call.
Imperfect superstar,
she's not your doll.

Just something I wrote when I was visiting my mom and sister. Haven't written much lately, but figured I'd share it anyway. It's not great, but whatever. I gave up caring whether it's good or not. Meh.

Oh I think there's plenty beneath the surface here.. Won't pull back/down her with flaws/pinched at every nerve. Don't give up on this one..

One quote for writers: Writing is rewriting. Yeah, I know this is great and I think it's well written but if you think that there's still something that you should add there then maybe you should write it again. Great job though, keep the creative juices flowing~!
Keep working wonders~
