Semblance of Bliss

Semblance of Bliss

A Poem by Black Queen
"

The Vanity of experiencing love and all the depression that comes with.

"
It is impossible to have everything. It's either one or the other; humanity's biggest flaw.
I'm the little man in the corner of the TV giving you all the signs.
Let's go back to the beginning and fall in love again.
Speak to me, My Darling.
The silence is violent.
The emptiness is hollow.
Are you never coming back?
Should I set you free?
I hold my breath to stay in our dreams.
Dazed enough to stay in a fantasy.
Hide the scars so it isn't true.
Put a smile and draw on a pretty face.
The soul should stay unknown for a semblance of bliss.
