The Storm

The Storm

A Poem by Nexus

"
The blood is flowing deeper
The cuts are opening wide
The rain is washing me away
Drowning me inside

Dark the clouds look above
Sharp the lightning strikes
The thunder claps across the land
Anxiety soon spikes

Wandering on through the dark
Down the beaten trail
Ghosts and goblins pick their mark
Attacking without fail

But then the sun rips through the clouds
Its loving light so warm
It casts them into shadows boughs
Id made it through the storm.

I really liked this a lot, it's dark but becomes brighter at the end. Nice flow and the rhyme is done well. This is a well written piece. Keep it up! :)
