Gold Wings

She stands by the sea,

The waves sing the song of her heart.

The rays of the moon paint the sea silver

As she awaits his return.

 

Her heart sings

As he dances across the water.

His wings shine gold

With every graceful movement.

 

The silver stars dance as he lands,

Silently, on the shore.

She grows her own golden wings

As their hands touch.

 

A golden ray of light pierces the sky,

They fly hand in hand,

Over the sea,

Into a new existence.
