Lost...

Lost...

A Poem by BladeofStars

She walks the hall,

Back and forth,

Trying to find a way out.

The lonely dark is all she has left.

He took her life,

Now she is lost,

In her eternal resting place,

The place in which ghosts travel to and from earth.

Is there a way out?

The sound of hauntings

Chills her body,

If only she could escape

The evanescent ghosts and the everlasting pain.

She falls to her knees.

A faint voice,

Carried by the chilling wind

That fills the empty dark hall.

The voice grows louder and louder,

As she rises to her feet.

She stands to face her killer.

His cold dark eyes stare through her.

He took his own life,

Now he is lost too,

In this eternal resting place,

The place in which ghosts travel to and from earth.
