The Difference In Faith

We have more in common than we imagine!

The difference in faith can be in the name.
Everywhere the yearning is for the same
God, The Most High, Creator of Heaven and Earth,
sun and moon, day and night, who gave us birth;
that living force bringing forth sun and rain
which spread on Earth to produce fruit and grain,
which countless philosophies can't explain.
O all winners boast that what made them come first's
the difference in faith!
O which hearts don't fear loss and pray for gain?
Which bodies don't pray for relief when in pain?
Adam and Eve's children roam the universe,
and our brothers and sisters are the foes we curse,
and there appears the gap, the difference in aim,
the difference in faith.
