Who cares

Who cares

A Poem by Blake Blackstone

I can feel myself slipping in to that state that I climbed so readily out of

Everything slips from just out of my reach and plumets to the questionable drop below.

How far down does it go and how far down will I fall?

I told someone to eat me, and they did.

But back on topic- an eratic isplay of thoughts avalanche within

Gaining nothing more another failure seems to be the only progress to look forward to

I once felt like I could win the hearts of millions and become whatever I want.

Now I know they all just lied to me. It's funny how things happen...

They s****y people all around me seem to be progressing, if not in leaps, then in little steps

while I seem to be stuck in a suspended animation.

Another failure, another cross off the pipe dreams list

Now i think about this s****y f*****g piece of writing, questioning if I should even press "save"

because I feel like it will not get me any further than I am. I will gain nothing.

Too bad I'm a dumbass. ::clicks save::

You're not alone. Join the club. You're not a "dumbass". You're honest and feeling and that's a whole lot more than most people.
