We are the Dead

We are the Dead

A Poem by BleedMyHeartOut

Everything I say feels like an empty word,

For everywhere I go, I'm never heard.

I scream, yet there is no sound.

I am amoung the lost, never to be found.

For no one ever thought to care.

Of our deeds, they were not aware.

For we are the dead,

Not in the body, but in the head.

We have lost all drive,

To remain alive.

But yet we still walk this earth,

Even though we lack all worth,

The laws of nature we shall continue to defy,

For we are the ones too strong to die.
