ABUSE!!

CRASH!

the sound of vases slamming across the wall.

SLAM!

The way you were pushed through the door.

SLAP!

The hand of the one you once loved flying across your face.

BELLOW!

They way you cry out in pain for help.

SLASH!

The way the knife slid across your throat.

KA BOOM!

The sound of a heavy fall.

GASP!

The Last breath.

SILENCE!

Nothing but silence, in the dark night, 

Nothing but a corps lying on the cold tilled floor and the man

who got away.

*To all who read this it is the sad truth that happens everyday and most victims do not receive justice. Please stop this abuse.*

This poem is kind of written from the victim's point of view; what he/she sees in those moments of abuse. Or it could even be someone viewing the abuse scene from the outside (like a child). I like the format; it gives impact to the scenario. Good message. Good read.
