The Earthbender

I wrote this to help me get the right mind set for the story I'm writing. Initially, it was just based on the show Avatar: The Last Airbender, but I ended up really needing to write it.

Power,

Strength,

All is mine.

No one knows the ground you walk

Better than I.

The world you see is mine,

For I can contol it.

You see a simple blade of grass or a pebble,

 I see beauty.

 

The World is misunderstood.

Only I can understand

The true nature of a tree,

The absolute beauty of a flower,

Or the incredible strength of a forest.

 

I am a Nurturer.

I grow for the beauty of the world

And for the sake if it.

I am the Earthbender.

Author's Note

The idea of "bending" is not mine, but I couldn't think of another way to describe control the elements.

I love all you Avatar the last airbender poems. Really do. Awesome job, especially since i'm a huge fan of the show. It reallt describes everyone's element very well. ^_^
