Walk with me?

Walk with me?

A Poem by Thief Lord Alex
"

A walk through snow

"

Take a walk through the snow
Through a place only you know

Through all the cold and ice
To a place so nice

Covered in ice and cold
A place from times of old

A snow palace, of kinds
Ends the path that winds

Meet the girl who lives there
White from toe to hair

Sugary sweet
And hard to beat

She'll make you smile
And stay awhile

She ask for a walk
So that you can talk

You ask her name
But she says it's a shame

She has none
And asks you for one

So you agree
And name her Marie

She thanks you kindly
Walking backwards blindly

She feels normal now
She not quite sure how

She's the only one, you see
Who asks "Walk with me?"

Simple, but sweet. You used vivid imagery that really made me feel as though I was walking with the two characters. Great write and I look forward to reading more of your work! Welcome to the Cafe'!
