Silver and Gold

Silver and Gold

A Poem by Thief Lord Alex
"

A comparison between to guys in my life

"

Silver and Gold
Warm and cold

A welcoming smile
That stays awhile

A malicious smile
That implies something vile

Silver and Gold
Warm and cold

One offers me a hand
And a friendship so grand

The other demands my hand
And a relationship damned

One is silver
The other is gold

One is warm
While the other is cold

One gives me a smile
That makes my head whirl

The other gives me a smile
That makes my stomach curl

I prefer silver
I don't like gold

I enjoy warmth
And I can't stand the cold.

This is good. I loved how you kept each stanza to two lines. Very good at comparing the two. Great write!
