Verse For S.M.

Verse For S.M.

A Poem by Bloodhound
"

I was in love once, or, ahem.. so I thought at the time.

"
I was scared to death of the winter rain
While you stepped forward without shoes.
You told me,
"Babe, you'll be okay, so long as I'm here with you."

The rain fell harder, but I heard you well,
And I crawled the open door.
Your voice rang out as an honest hymn,
You swore,
"Never have I loved you more."

Too bad I despise that woman now, right? I apologize for the short length, but this once meant very much to me.

This may be short, but it's beautiful. I really enjoyed reading this. It is too bad you despise her now; but it's amazing what love can inspire while it is still felt. I guess one can only hope you feel it again soon someday, for someone worth your time, right? :)
