Karma

Karma

A Poem by Christian Bonoan

I am strong and powerful
I control all inside my palm
like a storm raging up above
merciless and unstoppable

But, like all, I have a weakness
that's when I met him
I knew I was a hurricane
but now just a blown air

I have the light of power
but he hid me in the dark
cold and unwanted
I cried, like I've never cried before

I was half happy, I was scared
but I love him so dearly
I still wonder what happened
Is he karma that's punishing me?

Every few people believe in Karma. I liked your poem- its introspective and asking if all these sufferings are due to Karma.

Karma can be a bear. I do believe in karma. All things I did bad. Came back to me in three-folds. I enjoyed this poem. I like the poetry that ask questions. Thank you Christian for sharing the excellent poetry.

I can feel the character is so down in the dumps.. Love.. sometimes it hurts more than what you've expected..
I appreciate the poem's simplicity but it did touch my heart. feelin' so broken.. Nice work! :)
