Maybe You're Right

Maybe You're Right

A Poem by Christian Bonoan

I remember the moment
 you caressed my cheeks
 and that moment I realized
I wanted that in my life

I showed you all of me
 you showed what I want
 but somehow you've gone cold
 and left me all alone

You said it's my fault
 maybe you're right
I wish I changed all of me
'cause now I just lost myself

The toughest lessons life teaches you and you long to be the same as you were once before. However, time flies and we can never touch the same water running down the river.

Pretty good poem, but do not change yourself , just be your unique self 😊

A lover is a very influential person. You can give your all to them and they can tear it apart in their coldness. Thank you for sharing this.

he touched your heart and you showed him yours,

A sad journey and lesson in the words.
"I showed you all of me
you showed what I want
but somehow you've gone cold
and left me all alone "
I do understand the above words. 15 years in the Army. When you return. Nothing stays the same. Thank you Christian for sharing the amazing poetry.
