The Invisible Man

Self imagery at times when people just seem to look past the person inside....

Hey you! That's right I am talking to you.
Can you see me or am I still so see thru
Can you hear me voice? Know I'm alive?
My heart still beats and my feelings thrive!

Hey look! I am dancing to make you smile
Your still not looking its been a while.
I'm waving now trying to get your attention
You forget about me was it your intention?

We were close, tight as friends and more
Try to remember our plans we made before.
You and I walking a hand in hand our dream
Just you and I acting partners in our theme

But somehow you don't see me standing here
Your looking away, is it something you fear?
We could try painting my body a new shade.
Maybe you'll see my heart again displayed.

Until something gives I am sadly invisible
Waiting and watching I guess I am miss-able

Two sided coin to all things. Invisible mean you are not in demand (Privacy)and also could mean you are a ghost. A interesting poem. Left something for the reader to think about. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

i know how this is. i go through this constantly. it expresses the fear of one sided relationship which i have had too many times before. this captures emotions that i could not bare myself to think. all and all well done my friend.

Thank you Sarah... I guess at times reflection is something needed but often goes unseen. Yea I been through a lot of this and even at times thankful I am invisible. Less chance to get hurt.

Rob i know the pain, and though being invisible helps it keeps you from living. this is pot calling the kettle black but keep your head held high and show the world that they are wrong and that you will and can be seen.

LOL If you only knew me... I may be invisible to some but I am actually well seen by many. Pain is a symbol of what we must overcome, hurt is a sign that the lesson still need to be listened to. Love is finding the mutual that compliments our heart.
