Hole In My Chest

Hole In My Chest

A Poem by Bohrium Guy

When age has become a sentence and no one will understand the prison it holds.

Time passed me and made me grow old,

Now I have lost love no one to hold.

Alone the scars rip at my dark soul,

Beckoning love to make again whole.

Single and days passing like sand,

No one appears to take my hand.

Desolate angel sits black in wait,

No one enters close to a soul mate.

I shed a tear to have lost so many,

Loves past years more than twenty.

To live the rest confined by age,

No one understands at this stage.

Just cold is the sheets I now lay,

Waiting for nothing my dismay.

Except for the reaper silently creeps,

I know this well my soul so weeps.
