The Dark Days

The Dark Days

A Poem by Bohrium Guy

When the mood and or illness comes...

Cold and dark the mind does swell,
Feeling on the edge a tormented hell.
You want to move but can't proceed,
Every inch of your body aches indeed.

You want to scream to find a release,
Settle your thoughts with some peace.
Fear, depression defy rational thinking,
Trapped inside the feeling of sinking.

Longing for outside help & understanding,
But only yells of ones disoriented demanding.
You feel ashamed that you are not as normal.
While no one cares and leaves you informal.

Take heed my words people have emotions,
Left alone without care is killing them inside.
Don't be judgemental and quickly walk away,
You could be inflicted and left the same way.
