If I Had Wings

If I Had Wings

A Poem by Bohrium Guy

If I could fly my wings would spread,

My soul would flee this place of dread.

My feelings lifted by the wind will fly,

My past experiences left to slowly die.

The sun catching my eyesight by gaze,

The passion of being free will amaze.

My thoughts turning loose to catch air,

Knowing my release there is no despair.

Following no path just soaring so high,

Time doesn't exist and problems die.

Today I am the bird given the chance,

To live in the sky the breeze of romance.

This is only a dream given in illusion,

We all know there is only my conclusion.

I live in a momentary song that sings,

If only, If only I hadn't lost my wings.
