Ode To A Poet's Muse.

Ode To A Poet's Muse.

A Poem by Bonaventure Onuabuchi
"

Dedicated Jennifer Okoronkwo Chinenyenwa.

"
Oh! How marvellous thou to my core,
Maiden made no flaw.
In blossom like a cherry, thou art,
Cuddling my heart.

Oh! precious rose of the beauteous garden,
Beyond my words to unveil.
Angelic voice, and thou heart no defiled temple.
'The heavens' tours down to spy
Thou 'splendour; canst her issues' be compared-
........ Glory of the stars.
........ Eyes of the sun.
........ Light of the moon.

Oh! Queen of the bleeding hearts.
The beam that blinds my blues.
Bestowed rose upon my forlon heart.
From heaven thou alight:
....... To quell my blights
....... To bleed my pen
....... To days unbounded.

What a great tribute to your muse Bonaventure! I liked the poem both in form and the feelings it brought.
