APOGEE

APOGEE

A Poem by Bonnie Paige

It's my aging heart.
It's my weakest of mind.
It's my broken spirit.
It's today I send my bleeding feelings to the safest point of our universe.

The wind has blown it.
The sun has seen it's last flickering.
As the rain puts out remaining burning embers.

My heart that seems to always catch the deadliest of the bugs viruses, is now floating up safely to APOGEE.

Read the title, thought, checked.. and still unsure to the ending.. but, your words are so intense, you feel that the worst is done, over.. and that must be some kind of comfort. Life seems to be a fleet of hurdles , if not all the time but often - too often. But comes a time when you think nothing worse can happen, hits home so hard, numbs you and you pause.. wait, think, then realise it's how it is.. If that is what that title means for you.. it's an incredibly personal and courageous write,

Before i decided to comment on this poem. I checked out what is meaning of word apogee. At begging of your poem you start describing some dark event happen . It's actually very smooth and i feel how all fading in slow motion. Your words are caring last remains something very important. At end of poem your heart feel sutendly free . Maybe cause there is some higher point of relive at your life direction.

Has the sound of one who has been through the wringer and back. I get the feeling the last straw has been drawn, and now the speaker is through with it all. Not sure what this means for the future.
