I found this story interesting. At first the main character comes off as confident and cool, maybe even immature, but later he turns out to be a caring individual who wants to take care of his mother. I'm curious as to what will happen with this mirror as well.

I thought this was a good first draft. It certainly hooked me in, and I'm intrigued to find out what happens next.
There were a few points that I picked up on, but I'm sure you'll pick up on them when you edit it. Overall, a really good effort!
