Justice for Sk8ter Boi

Justice for Sk8ter Boi

A Poem by Bootleg
"

Parody of Avril Lavigne's "Sk8ter Boi".

"
One year from now,  from work I come home.
I sit on my sofa, I'm all alone.
I opened YT, and guess what I see,
Skater boy shot dead across my street.
I call all my friends, they already know,
They're invited to his funeral.
I tag along, back of the crowd,
His father said we need to riot now!

R.I.P skater boy, Those cops, they envy your joy.
He was a criminal to them.
You didn't steal a car, you only played guitar,
Yet the police wanted you to burn.

Three days from now, protesters strike,
Outside of the courtroom in broad daylight.
We want to know, why he was shot?
We wanted justice from more than god.
The judges declare, that they did their job.
Because the victim was a brown Punjab.
Then that b*****d cop, left the front door,
And left without charges, that son of a w***e!

R.I.P skater boy, Those cops, they envy your joy.
He was a criminal to them.
You didn't steal a car, you only played guitar,
Yet the police wanted you to burn.
