Anxiety

Anxiety

A Poem by Broken Porcelain
"

I suffer from severe anxiety/panic disorder. I currently sit in a state of panic, so my poem explains how each and every day feels.

"
My chest is tightened, my heart still beats.
My lungs feel frozen, but again I breathe.
I feel the danger, so close to death.
My mind is twisting, turning, tricking.
I need to leave, nowhere to go.
I cannot evade, cannot explain.
I am alone in this pain.
There is no cure, no one who can help.
So I just sit in my personal hell.
Tears stream, laughter ends.
Torn down.
No escape.
Annihilation begins.
