Nobody Can

Nobody Can

A Poem by Lloyd
"

Real Story about a fight we had way back, about 1988

"

Denim burning,

Flesh is scorched.

Her anger only rises

As my clothing is torched,

Rolling on the lawn,

Pain at the dawn.

Begging forgiveness, head in hands,

If I can’t have you, nobody can

Flesh is burnt, clothing, torn.

What love, will be your plan?

If I can’t have you, nobody can.

Fear you’re leaving,

Taking a stand.

If I can’t have you, nobody can.

If I can’t have you, nobody can.

I don't quite know what to say about this. The implied violence overshadows all. The thought of these words will remain long after I leave this page.
