Behind nights spend shattered.

Not a sad poem, like the title suggests haha.

I need you like the sun needs the daytime,
so I can seem to be the only star in the sky.
I need you like it's a massive crime,
but I don't have to steal you from some other guy.
I have found the most desireable life I could ever ask for.
I have gotten what I wanted, most defidently even more.
I won't let you down, I swear on my life, and I promise,
there's nothing better out there for me than this.

It's dissapointing spending these nights lonely,
but you make this world so much more homely.
I could exchange with you the most beautiful of glances,
I could spend days counting second chances,
the one's i'll never ask for because I don't need them,
things i'll never need ever again.
I will never let this go out of my sight,
for without you I don't even get that light.

I'm not going to sleep at night without some sort of whisper
saying that I love you baby, and everyone knows i'll never stop missing her.
You're all I want to say, and do.
You're all that I look forward to.
When I say that I love you, you know it's the truth,
I could never, ever, ever, ever stop loving you.
Even when these days turn sour, i'll be waiting by the hour
to see your smile recollect behind nights that i've spent shattered.

Just don't forget me, i'll always be here,
as long as you promise to want me near.
The heat, the cold, the sun, the snow
could never stop me from throwing rocks at your window,
To your house in the darkest hours of the night I will go,
for you, to you, so my love for you I can show.
