Day 2: Virtue 2/13/13

Day 2: Virtue 2/13/13

A Chapter by Alice Crypt; Brittany
"

Day 2 of the project, describing my realization of there being people with virtue like my own.

"
The paper feels thinner when words are warm,
Somehow they resignate a familiar voice,
A virtue resigned with great rocks of swarm,
Where the rock does lay without a choice.

Eroded and smoldered, breasts have grown warmer,
As many dogs now lay upon them,
Elizabeth would show a cold shoulder,
Once natures blessing is now foregranted and pure love un-fathomed.

I thought this true and only I thought love was unchanging and stayed always,
I was alone until he who loved the black lady bared her before me and his breast showed true,
Before the hand turned he came and proved that someone, not surprisingly, was fresher than May,
Though age left him dead. Love lasts through everything, even doom it will go through.

But I fear that I am in love with a man forgotten when the hand moved faster,
My heart is laid in old hopefull stone from the magic caster.
