Love Forgotten

Love Forgotten

A Poem by Lynn

The things you promised,
they were amazing.
A love so perfect,
so thought out,
sought by so many,
to be cast in the shadows,
to be saved for a rainy day.

We were the envy of all,
everyone wanted our true love.

And then it fell apart.
I don't regret it, no.
You were a great friend,
but this has been a love,
forgotten.

I don't mean to rhyme. I do it on accident, sorry.
