I am...

This is a poem I wrote for English Comp.

I am nobody.

 I wonder what my purpose in life is.

 I hear only the voices in my head bringing me down. 

I want to be somebody.

 I am nobody.

 I pretend to be happy.

 I feel like I don’t belong.

 I touch nothing.

 I worry about everything.

 I am nobody.

 I understand the voices.

 I say I’m fine.

 I dream of popularity. 

I try existing.

 I hope I’m somebody.

 I am nobody.

Very depressing and sad. I'm so sorry you feel like this, nobody deserves to feel this way.

A wonderfully crafted piece of poetry. It reads smoothly from top to bottom and leaves the reader musing and thinking about their own walks of life and feelings that they have endured. I personally think everyone one is a somebody and no one is a nobody. But, then again, I'm an eternal optimist. =)

what i think is "I'M EVERYTHING, BUT I'M NOBODY", life' has been bifurcated into some fundamental components and each components has it's own meaning like human's're good, but human's bad as well.
all humans' can help but all humans don't, human can make everything but human can destroy everything as well.
and so many things.
i liked this piece and to me it's really a deep concept of writing. Thanks for sharing this piece with me.
