The Aftermath

The Aftermath

A Poem by Brennon
"

Just something random.

"
When something happens, someone is always in the middle.
Both sides tug on them to help them.
The person never wants to be in the middle.
But they wont stop.
After a friendship has ended, or something bad happened,
That one person is still in the middle.
"Who should i hang out with today? Who should I blow off?"
Or they pick easiest thing they think of.
"I just wont go with either."
The aftermath is the worst part of anything.
It causes despair, sadness, lonelyness....even in some cases, death.

I think people would just learn to say "whatever" and just nope out of the situation. It is pretty awkward and hard to deal with after all.

Anyways, this is a poem that shows the kind of internal conflict the middle man suffers and deals with. Nicely written.

Yeah, being in the middle, one of the most problematic things. You seem to have gone through a situation like this before. Anyway, this was a different write, which probably means good! Just correct the spelling of loneliness. Keep writing!
