-THIS STAGE IS WHERE LIVE, WHERE I BURN.

-THIS STAGE IS WHERE LIVE, WHERE I BURN.

A Chapter by Brian Kraklau

this stage is where I live,

where I burn

performing for the world.

Days have come and gone

moons set,

stars visited

I've walked miles from home

lived lies,

broke ties

nights were young beautifully young

smoked lungs,

tied tongues

back on the road again

going home

time to go.

when he taught me the way

leaping onward

shining on

each day brings new talented thoughts

things have taken a new turn yet

broken chains

if this world would be as ongoing as I

the garden of Eden would spread her legs

no more teasing tastes of enjoyment

where peace is at the finger tips

nights have poisoned the minds of many

I too have been victim of such crimes

but this merely be a wall to break down

a threshold to earn passage to

life be an evil vagina with teeth

claws of the night

scream and fight

but such pain can be demanding

this all merely be another wall to break through.

old habits and new ones

people who have come

people who go

oh baby don't you cry

I am here tonight

my smile may have faded

but my heart is here

oh baby if walk away

these nights will become cold

but when I grow old and weary

my heart will still be warm

I will always be here

for you

this a*****e is still burning

on fire from your love

this woman has my soul

she may be hard to play at times

but I will learn

time will be

she will show me those lights

where I will shine

showing for the world

and one day I will be shining too

a star on stage

living longer than fame and fortune

for my soul belongs

and when the music is over

I will be gone

for I must go where she goes

in warming comfort of her voice.

really nice..it has a jaded feel in parts for one so young,"my smile may have faded, but my heart is still here.".......but I sense your love and devotion....nice write.

I like how you wrote this poem. Each part opening a new door to a different story. Life lead us to many places. Sometime we need a voice to keep us right and on the correct path. Thank you for the excellent poem.
