No future beyond tomorrow

This poem reflects my current feeling of never being able to find true happiness in my life and feeling as though I'm stuck without any future goals and desires out of life.

Is it okay to feel so...
Empty?
To feel as though nothing good will come of this life?
I can't imagine the future beyond tomorrow
With a block in my mind that won't budge, stopping me of any aspiration
My degree will remain a piece of paper
Never to see the light as it lays hidden in my cupboard
I see all these doctors, lawyers, teachers, but where do I fit in this career driven world?
Rock bottom seems to get lower and lower, giving me more space to drop and fall
Remaining there until my light is snuffed out and my world has crumbled.
