As They Say, Apples And Oranges

As They Say, Apples And Oranges

A Chapter by Brittany

He loved her because she was unlike anyone he'd ever known.

She loved him because he was just what she always wanted.

He wrote her love letters she could not interpret.

And she gave him gifts he had no use for.

When they woke in the morning, they shared the middle of the bed.

"I love you." He'd whisper while pulling her closer.

Ignoring his bad breath, and her own, she would reply, "I love you too."

Each meant it in a different way, although they viewed it the same.

He held her in his arms and savored first moments.

She was eager to start the day with him.

They both thought it was perfect.

Ah. The beginning of love and everything it has to offer. The small moments and big moments that happen right before you slip into the stage of "being comfortable". Unless you're one of the lucky ones and can find a balance of being comfortable and still completely in love. Well done.
