No Reasons

No Reasons

A Chapter by Brittany

He found an old notebook and tore out the pages that

had lists of things

to buy, to do- things he needed, and things he didn't.

He wrote "Ideas" on the third page.

He found the notebook 2 years later, blank except the third page.

He tore this out as well, and proceeded to make a new list. He titled it

"Resolutions".

How dare you not tell me you wrote something new. The betrayal hurts. I love this though. Short, to the point, and sad in a way that I wasn't expecting it to be. The thought of losing yourself, then finding your old self, and starting all over again. Like a long repetitious act of trying to become a better version of yourself -- at least that's what I took from it.
