The Troubled Sea

The Troubled Sea

A Poem by Brother Jacob

As the seas were troubled, on a windy night.
All of us disciples were filled with fright.
But our Master was peacefully sleeping.
As the seas troubled more, the winds kept creeping.

We thought we were goners; we thought we would die.
We woke up the Master and began to cry.
The Master raised His hand, and said to the wind, "peace be still." He rebuked the storm; it obeyed His will.
