Burial Prayer

Burial Prayer

A Poem by Bruce Grimes
"

This prayer is often used by the button Knights of Agarith, as well as other worshipers of Agarith, at funerals in The Land of Kayshall.

"

                       Burial Prayer

                               We heard thy call,

                               One and all,

                                We filled our ranks,

                                 With the brave and free,

                                We stood the field,

                                  In the name of thee,

                                   Now we send our dead,

                                   To thy loving arms, Agarith,

Where the brave may live forever,

Rest in peace, brave warriors. This brought tears to my eyes. I've always been attached to characters...this is a beautiful prayer to rest their souls.

Interesting. I like the form a lot. Good work.
