Violence

Violence

A Poem by Bruce Weightman

The violence of the people are shattering the dreams of those who try to stop them. breaking down the beams the house of love and caring is falling and no one can stop the flow and nothing is helpful to disperse the blow, because they won’t stop fighting they will not even slow the world is closing and they don't even know. The crisis this is causing is crushing our soul for there is no weakness living in a bowl.

I will never understand violence. I lived in Detroit before the riots and the people burn down their city. The sad part, a city, once with 1.2 million people been dying since. Your words, honest, powerful and true. Thank you Bruce for sharing the outstanding poetry.
