Heat of the Storm

I'm dazed, lost, & confused.
My hearts in the midst Of a storm.
I'm fighting a battle unknown.
My thoughts a spiraling tornado,
My judgement is a changing tide...
One moment I'm here in reality
And then I'm gone...
My thoughts in the wind.
I need you, I miss you
& I love you more than I should.
I can't be with you,
Yet I think of you every moment.
You invade my dreams,
I'm replaying a lovestruck tragedy.
He loves me, he loves me not.
Maybe, will I ever know?
Or has my chance passed?
Will my feelings fade..
Or will I adjust as the storm subsides.
Will it subside? Will it pass?
Or will I live in devastation
A constant storm of emotions.
