A Seaside Wedding.

A Seaside Wedding.

A Poem by Bullet Soul
"

Falling in love on the shore.

"

Your white wedding dress, trails down the shore

His hand in yours, the roar of the tides

Seashore romance, a sailboat honeymoon

Falling in love, with your heart in the sand

It snowed there in Florida, the day that you met

He sailed through the waters, and right to your side

Fate took its course, and now here you are

With wedding sea shells, gripped in your hands

As twilight approaches, he asks you to dance

His hands on your waist, and yours on his shoulders

A perfect embrace that lightens each burden

As he whispers his love, right into your soul

Sunset strikes, the ocean’s horizon

As the angels sing, and a new day begins

But sunlight’s rays, will never vanish

For you hold the light, right here in your hands

The key to a heart, that each long to have

Bestowed upon you, when he gave you his vows

Your wedding dress, now stained with sand

Comes tumbling down, straight to your knees

As you give a gift, to the one man you love

And twilight invades, the now perfect day

The moment you never, plan to forget

When a seashore romance,

Became your wedding day…

This is such a beautiful poem, so pure and romantic. I thought this could be said that someone's beach wedding. Everyone has images of a white dress, and footprints in the sand at sunset. This poem made me think of real love, instead of the stereotypical lust that is so common nowadays in poetry and literature.
