In An Angel's Hands

In An Angel's Hands

A Poem by Bullet Soul

In an angels hand she holds

A promise she can't keep

In an angels hand she holds

A thousand nights without sleep

On angels wings you fly

Into your blackened nightmares

On angels wings you fly

So far away from paradise

To a town without a name

Where things will never be the same.

You've forgotten your own purpose

With eyes that cry a thousand tears

Speaks words in a thousand ways.

And if you could forgive yourself

If your memories could stay

You'd return eternally

To the place you loved.

But in the end you will remain

So far from all the brightened stars

So far away from all that you believed.

From the angels hand you held.
