My Little Girl :)

a dream I had, and I can't wait to make a reality :P

One night I had an amazing dream

Of a room so bright, I could barely see

There was no carpet, or hard wood floors

Just long white walls, no windows or doors

In the center there stood an adorable little girl

Who would smile at me as if I was her world

I asked what her name was, but she just shrugged

When I knelt down to talk, she gave me a hug

I said I don't mean to be rude, but it feels weird to hug you

She said why is that daddy?, you know that I love you

I said I love you too princess, my little bundle of joy

Then I took her hand, and we played with her toys

I loved how the light would make her eyes twinkle

And how her cute little laugh would make her nose crinkle

Her hands were so soft, much smoother than silk

And she loved to blow bubbles in her chocolate milk

I awoke from the dream right after I kissed her

In a matter of minutes, I already missed her

I could never replace the way she made me feel

I'll treasure that day when she's actually real

Until then I'll be waiting, with a smile to greet you

On that wonderful day, when I finally meet you

That is adorable, I love little kids, they're my favorite people, they see the world so differently. I have a little girl, she's almost 4 and you mentioned one of my favorite things!

I do this silly voice for her, when we're playing with toys or just to make her laugh, and she always crinkles up her little nose when she tells me I'm being silly, so I love that you mentioned that. You paint a beautiful picture here. Lovely poem, thank you for sharing.

Amazing poem, even gave me chills! I dont know if this was actually based off of a real dream but i have had dreams where i have had a baby or kid before and the minute you wake up you instantly feel lost and want your kid back lol
